Lambat Laun
Lambat Laun is an exploration of materials and objects housed within 66 Spottiswoode Park Road. On the exterior, it is a historical shophouse structure, however on the inside, one is greeted with an assortment of personal paraphernalia. This juxtaposition portrays how the character of a site should also be considered in conserving a site and its heritage. It also questions the relationship between conservation bodies and the public, where there should be a more apparent partnership in retaining the memory of such sites
The work is exposed to natural elements, and eventually the images will peel off. In leaving blank spaces, the essence behind these conserved sites fade into oblivion.
